TECHNOLOGY

PU CORE (Polyester)

The polyester or PU construction uses traditional materials and lamination techniques to produce a strong and reliable surfboard with refined finishes. All polyester boards are CNC milled and glassed by hand using quality materials. For years, traditional polyester boards have been at the forefront of surfing. These boards have a progressive flex pattern controlled by a wooden stringer. The polyester construction works in all surf conditions and can be adapted to all types of surfboard models.

BLACK TECH EPS (Epoxy)

The BLACK TECH EPS construction produces a controlled flex pattern, combining the versatility of epoxy materials with the added advantage of reduced weight. All BLACK TECH EPS boards are CNC milled and hand laminated with an EPS core and BIO epoxy resin, fiberglass and a specialized construction process. This construction is characterized by the high ratio between weight and resistance. BLACK TECH EPS boards are lightweight, with an excellent response and very sensitive underfoot. These boards are extremely versatile, easy to surf, and can be used in a wide variety of conditions.

CARBON FLEX (Epoxy)

The CARBON FLEX construction provides unrivaled performance, taking advantage of the flexibility characteristics of epoxy and carbon resistance. CARBON FLEX combines a high density EPS core with Biaxial fibers that guarantee extra strength, BIO epoxy resin and strategically positioned carbon reinforcements. The positioning of these reinforcements allows to distribute the tension evenly over the entire surface area of the board to produce an active, but controlled flex pattern, with remarkable memory properties. CARBON FLEX boards are fast, light and responsive in all conditions. Created by Surfactory Portugal to complement a series of board models, this construction proved to have flexible properties superior to other technologies by up to 20%.

HARDCORK

After the success of Hydroflex, the inventor Rouvens “Bufo” again revolutionized the surfboard market with new technology and chose Surfactory as the official manufacturer. ( www.bufo-tech.com ).

Most surfboards on the market are extremely fragile, which drastically shortens their lifespan. Crackling, usually called "spider cracks" is a well-known problem. The boards will lose flexibility and performance after some time due to cracking and delamination. In addition to all this, the vast majority of materials used are not very environmentally friendly.

With the HARDCORK construction, we are able to solve all these identified problems, further improving performance and flexibility.

HARDCORK technology keeps your board in shape for years without losing its original properties. In addition to being a more ecological product when using cork, you are contributing to positive side effects that surf has never seen. All materials used are state-of-the-art composites and 100% waterproof.
